About "KIDS"

In August of 1986, Kids in Distress Services (KIDS), a non-profit corporation, was formed to provide funding for psychological counseling for the victims of child abuse.  Today, KIDS provides funding for psychological counseling of the victims of child abuse and educational programming for children and adults on may topics including:

  • Internet safety
  • Recognizing abuse
  • Parenting/Discipline
  • Recognizing predators
  • Child abduction prevention
  • Child exploitation prevention
